Eagle Bracelets

The Eagle Bracelets are conceived as a pair of sculptural forms that wrap around the wrists with the tension and presence of eagle claws. Crossing open at the front, they create the impression of an imaginary bird gripping the arm, transforming the body into a site of drama, ornament and symbolic force.

The piece brings together references drawn from African visual traditions and surrealist imagery, combining ritual intensity with an oneiric sense of transformation. The bracelets explore the language of representation in a way that feels both symbolic and imbued with a rustic character, yet unexpected, evoking the worlds of fantasy and the unconscious.

Bold in form yet fluid in line, the pair is designed to frame the wrist with a strong sculptural gesture. One thinner than the other create a sense of action. The open crossing at the top heightens the sensation of movement and tension, while the spring clasp placed beneath ensures a secure closure.

Crafted in bronze and finished with 18k gold plating, the Eagle Bracelets are created using the cire perdue technique and completed by hand by jewellers. Slight variations are a natural part of the process, giving each piece its own unique character.
