Scarab King Sculpture

Scarab King is a sculptural object cast in bronze using the ancient cire perdue technique and meticulously finished by jewellers to elevate every detail of the sculpture. The piece is then gold plated, enriching the precision, depth, and presence of the scarab’s form. Inspired by Egyptian scarabs — a recurring motif in Marcella’s design language — it embodies ideas of good fortune, power, transformation, protection, and enduring symbolism. Both ornamental and emblematic, Scarab King reflects a universe in which mythology, meaning, nature, and sculpture continuously meet, resulting in a piece that feels at once powerful, refined, and deeply precious.
