Round Mirror N0 1

Round Mirror No 1 carries the bilros ornament motif found in seventeenth-century Portuguese Baroque furniture into carved stone.

The rounded segments gather along the sides of the frame, turning the marble into repeated volumes while the upper and lower arcs remain continuous. This shift in rhythm gives the circular form depth and a more articulated profile.
